A Diverse Learning Experience

The RSD Course aims to reach a diverse sector of society. Be they home gardeners to off-grid homesteaders, farmers, business entities to regenerative development consultants and community leaders – each individual or collective can explore topics that resonate with them, making the learning process relevant, more engaging and thus beneficial for society.

Learn Without Limits

The RSD Course is suitable for people of all educational standards, academic levels and cultural backgrounds.  The course material can be accessed at anytime, anywhere, and all modules are self-paced. Whether one is a busy professional, a student on a tight schedule, or someone who enjoys a more individual approach, learning is entirely flexible and fits into any lifestyle.

An Abundance of Knowledge

The RSD Course is a blend of online content that is provided by international experts — this being: course content, additional reading & videos, online tutoring — and in-person practicals where participants apply what they have learnt into a Rescue Earth volunteer project of their choice. The many modules can be studied as stand alone courses.

Core Tracks

The Regenerative Systems Design Course is in the process of being developed. There are 48 qualifications. Each qualification has many tracks. The 16 Core Tracks each have 7 levels — in other words each Core Track has 7 modules. Even though they have been designed to be studied together, Core Tracks and third-party courses can be studied on their own. For example, someone may decide to study Regenerative Food Production & Processing from Level 1 to 7 without studying any other tracks.
The many modules can be studied as stand alone courses.

It’s important to recognise and appreciate the richness that diversity brings to our communities and societies. Embracing diversity promotes understanding, inclusion, and a more vibrant and dynamic collective experience.

The RSD Course is managed by Regenerative Systems – a community development organisation.

100% of all international registration fee income is used to sponsor student volunteers from less developed countries. This initiative gives them the opportunity and provides the means for them to study the prescribed and elective 3rd-party courses. This is achieved via the edu point system.

Income from South African registration fees is used to cover the costs of managing the course. This includes administration payroll, website hosting, software development, publicity campaigns and investor remuneration.

RSD Course Versions

The pre-alpha version of a lesson is one that has not been peer reviewed yet — however, don’t worry, pre-alpha is good enough to be live! The alpha version is an early version of a peer reviewed lesson that is part of a dedicated evaluation process. The beta version includes almost all of the final content, videos, etc. yet it may still need to be tweaked somewhat.

The first modules of the pre-alpha version of the RSD Course are already live. The reason for making the pre-alpha version live is that we are actively engaging with our ‘early adopter’ crowdfunding students and contributors so that we can build the best course possible. The completed alpha versions of the entire course will be live from the 1st September 2024.

The beta version of the entire RSD Course will hopefully be released by 1st March 2025. The ‘completed & refined’ release of the RSD Course (English) should be available around late-2025. The course will then be translated into other languages — around 10 languages at first, and then more according to demand.
